Ferrari increased the 488’s downforce by 50% compared to the 458 while reducing aerodynamic drag by refining its design. The 488 GTB features a new double front splitter design that channels air over and under the body to generate vortexes and ground the car without adding unwanted drag. The sculptural flanks of the 488 are key to its character, and its large signature air intake scallop is a nod to the original Ferrari 308 GTB.
